Books on abuse

What books do you ladies recommend for reading for history of child abuse?

When Survivors Give Birth is by far my top favorite. I think it is beneficial for a mom, but also for the doula to read because it gives such a wealth of information. I also think it is important for doulas to read because unfortunately many, many women have been abused and a good number of them will not disclose this information to their care provider, their doula and even sometimes to their spouse. So if we treat EVERY woman with care, loving, kindness as if they were abused then we are covering all of our bases. I know I have had a few women who have said they haven't been abused (because I do ask and just explain how that can affect birth) who once birth hit I am pretty darn sure that they were abused because of their reactions, things they have said "oh my gosh not again - I can't be hurt like this again."

It is hard, but if we treat all women as if they were abused then we are covering our bases and the women who have not been abused get that added TLC that I think EVERY woman deserves.
