Talking I'm going to a Midwifery Apprentice Workshop!!

I'm so excited! I just signed up to go to a FREE Midwifery Apprentice Day workshop on May 5th! If you live in xxxxx and have an interest in homebirth midwifery, this could be an opportunity too good to pass up! Let me know if you're interested and want more details. It should be very interesting. Now...I just have to hope that my VBAC client who has a May 13 EDD won't go into labor on that day!
-----------------------

Celebrate International Midwifery Day!! Explore the midwifery path! Come to a FREE workshop sponsored by xxxxxxxxxxxxxx!

Agenda:
9:45-10:10 Check-in
10:10- 10:20 Introduction and Welcome
10:20-11:30 Panel Discussion with Q & A on "What does a midwife look for in an apprentice? How do I balance an apprenticeship with my own/my family's need?" as well as questions from attendees.
11:30-12:15 Midwifery: Business and Legal Issues
12:15- 1:00 Lunch (on your own)
1:00- 2:15 Some Practical Skills for Apprentices
2:15- 2:30 Break
2:30- 3:45 The Role of Nutrition, Supplements, Herbs and Homeopathy in Preventative Midwifery Care
3:45- 4:00 Wrap-up

Lori,
How was that meeting? I had some input into what an apprentice [me] would like to know, but had to make a trip to Seattle and couldn't attend. What did you learn?
