ALACE Workshop in Maryland

Hoping its ok to post this here!! Is anyone interested in attending an ALACE workshop in Baltimore, Maryland in Feb or March of 2007. I'm trying to sponsor a workshop in Baltimore and one of the questions they ask you is if you know anyone who would want to attend. It probably would be the end of Feb or end of March around the 23-25 for each month. You obviously don't have to register or even commit I'm just trying to see if here is anyone interested already. I know there has been alot of talk about ALACE training on here already but it is the most in depth training for doulas so even if you have already attended a different training you might want to take this one too. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, I might be interested in going to that. Things may be crazy for me around that time because my Dh will be inthe middle east for a few months. BUT, it would be good for me to get out of the house and do something I like. Do you know how much it will be yet?

I might be interested. I'd also like to know how much it would cost.

The cost is $425 and that includes everything - the workshop and a years membership and everything you need to get certified. The price drops to $395 if you pay in full 30 days or more in advance. If you just want to attend the workshop and are already certified the cost is $350 but you must provide documentation that you are certified by another organization. There are payment plans available if needed.

I would probably be interested in that. The dates in March are better for me than the ones in Feb. just because it's ds5's birthday weekend. I would be interested in how much it would cost, where the location would be and if it is only for ALACE members or open to anyone.
Keep me posted!

Would this be a Doula workshop or a CBE workshop?

It would be a doula workshop and it is open to anyone. I'm not sure yet where it will be as I'm just working out the details right now but probably at one of the hotels closest to BWI so its easier access for out of towners and the trainer. I posted the prices about - it looks like we were posting at the same time. If you have any other questions please let me know.
