Question LeClaire Hypnobirthing Certification

Does anyone have any experience with the Leclaire Hypnobirthing Method and their certification course?
I am particularly interested in their Long-Distance Certification.
Thanks!

I have no experience with it. Are you planning on taking it? Have you decided?

Wow, I haven't seen that one but it looks good! Let me know if you decide to take it. Maybe some others would be interested and we could start a study group.

I looked this up and the log-distance cert is $100 cheaper than going to a training class of theirs. $99 for the certification sounds pretty good.

I never ended up deciding whether I should take it or not (interest in other Doula-related things led me elsewhere and it fell to the back of the list again lol).
Although the distance course is cheap, it is never my deciding factor when I choose trainings or workshops. I prefer to make sure I have researched their philosophies, professionalism, and reputation first (which is why I asked if anyone had gone through them... I realise Noelia has mentioned she hasn't heard great things about them over on the Hypnobabies thread, but has anyone else had first-hand experience with this organisation?).

Motherstouch, did you decide whether or not to take this course? If so, how are you liking it? Or have you contacted anyone involved in the trainings?

Does anyone else know anything about the LeClaire Method and their training?

I just ordered my package 2 days ago so it is on its way. Once it gets here I will let ya all know. I am thinking it should be in todays mail.

I know nothing about hypnobabies and have only found one other person that teaches a class and she is about 6 hrs away up north.

It's always exciting to be working on new certifications (or studying/training) - well, for me anyway hehe!
Would you mind giving us updates as you work through the course, and tell us your thoughts and experiences? If you don't mind being the guinea pig that would be great, LOL!
I hope it meets and even exceeds your expectations! Keep us posted!

Hopefully it arrives in a timely manner, and doesn't become the first of a series of hiccups!

I think it will be helpful for others considering this method to hear first-hand accounts for each leg of your training journey (although I know everyone's experience, satisfaction level and perceptions vary).

Looks nice! May be something I add on in the future, but I have a lot on my plate right now.

OK, I got the packet about a week or so ago. I am really not to sure about it. It came with 3 dvd/cds a book and a pack of printed off information that i am sure I could have found myself on the net.
To get cretified I have to write down (3)affirmations: like unlealthy, Healthy, Affirmation , Plan of Action. you have to write out your trauma story and transform it into what you wanted the outcome to be or how in an be trasformed spiritually, such as a poem or a book, or painting, etc.

She does tell you step by step how to run a class. I haven't time yet to sit down and listen to the dvd/cds yet. Now that the kids are back in school and I'm not spending my days entertaining them I will have time to get this finished.
