Next weekend is my ICEA training

So, next weekend I will be off to Chicago for my ICEA training. I am so excited, but also a little nervous. As dumb as this might sound I have never driven that far by myself LOL.

! Have fun! Is this for a new certification or CEUs for a current one..I wonder if you could have any more titles and initials after your name:

How far is the drive? Don't feel silly. I think we all feel that way sometimes

Well, this is for a new certification, but I can probably use it for CEU's as well LOL. I hadn't thought about that, so thanks for reminding me. I have to have CEU's for my DONA and CAPPA labor doula recertifications and also for my postpartum recertification and also for my CAPPA childbirth education recertification.

I am taking it because I wanted to get a job at the hospital that I am currently a doula at as a childbirth educator, and they require ICEA or Lamaze certification. They will not accept my CAPPA certification. Unfortunately now that I started the process I am rethinking the whole wanting to work there teaching, but am still going to finish what I started because I can't take the training and do nothing with it.

The drive is 1 1/2-2 hours - not sure exactly, but I never drive more than an hour. I am a big wienie LOLOL
