I'm all done with my cert births!!!!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I am all done my cert births!!!!
I only have to write my essay about the value of Doula support and I can send in my packet and await my CD(DONA)!!!!!!
I can't wait to put those letters behind my name!!!!

I, too, am just "waiting" to get my paperwork done. I remember when I had only attended one birth and read others saying this and thinking "I would have all that done the very next day!!!" Well, here I am, still needing to get it done lol. Congrats to you for almost being certified lol

Yay! I think I finally wrote the essay about 3 or 4 months after I did my last cert. birth. Talk about procrastination.

I am in the same boat -- I have finished all three births, done all three birth essays and have written my purpose and value of labor support essay -- I just need to complete my CBE classes -- only four more to go!! Then arrange everything and mail it off!! I can't wait either!

Tara!! Now.....EVERYONE!! If you ONLY have paperwork to do.... JUST DO IT!  It's such a relief to know that it's all completed and sent off; then you get sooo anxious as you wait to receive notification that you're finally certified! The sooner you send it in, though, the sooner you'll be "bonafide"...er..um ..."certified"!  It really is an exciting feeling!  |
