Question CAPPA lact. edu's working toward cert?

How is it going?

I finally had a day where I could sit down and look at what (if any) process I've made on my cert's. It looks like my LE cert is coming along nicely. I need to find a LC to observe, attend the LLL meetings and write my papers and I think that's it

I was looking through the advanced option and really wished that I would have completed my CBE first but... this will be a good experience for me. I need to do the LLL meetings anyway since we'll be bringing a group here and I'd love to observe a LC... I'm fretting over the papers though

LeAnne, I'm there too. I've done the IBCLC observation and was a LLL Leader for 8 years.

Now I just need to reveiw some things like no milk sinuses What??? I'm ready to borrow a copy of the latest issue of Lawrences breastfeeding and human lactation and I'll be set to write my essay and take the test.

It will be my first official certification.

this will be your first? How cool! You've got a huge leg up on me after being a LLL leader, I still feel like I need more experience before teaching, hopefully that'll come with observing. I nursed 3 kids but never really had trouble, I guess I need to 'see' what to do/say when someone is having a difficult time.

my packet was under a pile of other paperwork
