Doula Training

I was going to attend an ALACE training in August here in Missouri. As you know, my daughter was ill so I was unable to attend. There is a workshop in Kansas next month, but we are scheduled to be out of town that weekend so I can't make it to that one. There are no other workshops currently scheduled in the general area.

I am considering being a sponsor for a workshop here in Missouri. I would have to find 12 people to attend. I was wondering if anyone from the midwest would be interested in attending one in Missouri in about 6 months?

Has anyone sponsored a workshop before? Did you have any problems filling it?

Is there a yahoo list for your area you might be able to post this information to that is directly related to doulas in the midwest type of thing. ex. in seattle there is a seattle doulas group on yahoo and we post things like this on there.

Goodluck!
