OMG, YESSSSS!!!! it drives me nuts. We did have the CAPPA conference in Aneheim (about 1.5-2 hrs away from me, I live in San Diego County) in October, which was awesome (thanks Val), and ICAN and APPAH had conferences around here last year, but I didn't get to go to either, and that was such a rarity I know I missed out untill who knows when. Urgh. I really really wanted to go to the CIMS conference, but Boston? yea right.

True, True, but we do have Elizabeth Davis Heart and Hands nearby. Dhey ever do anything up in Seattle?

I'm lucky that I've been to SEVERAL LLL conferences for N. Ca/Hi and also the Western Division one in Anaheim some years back.

I wonder if some of us got together and committed to organizing one if they'd consider doing one out here?

JIll - who just woke up and still has a screaming headache. Therefore there is a disclaimer on all my posts in case they make no sense!!!!!!!!!!!

DITTO. WA state is about as far from any conference or workshop as it gets. Nothing in our area in the spring of this year. Then CAPPA came to SW WA. I think DONA is doing something here this fall. But, why are the big fun conferences always on the other side of the country. Don't they know there is doula-culture life west of the Rockies - or the Mississippi at least!!
