Which should I use? I am torn : (

I need your advice ladies...

At the moment I have choosen to have my business name be Natural Beginnings, I am not sure that I want to stick with this. I like the implications of birth being a natural event, but something is making me question if I should continue to use this name.
As you have probably seen, on my logo, I am using a lotus flower. I love them and have come up with the name Blooming Lotus Birth Services. I love the blooming part of the name as I feel that is what we do when we are pregnant and in labor. A lotus flower is also known as a water lily, which I love because it makes me think of water babies.
I also like the Blooming Lotus a little bit better because I can not seem to find another doula who uses that name. As Nautral Beginnings a doula in Vermont uses. So I am torn

What do you guys think?
What do you think the pros and cons to each of them are?
Which one do you like better and why?

I will also attach the link to my post on my logo, so you can see what I am talking about.
How is this LOGO?

Thanks in advance!

I know I love it too! That is why the decision is hard. I have another question, if you don't mind, there is, however, a website named blooming lotus dot com, but it is a medicine company, do you think Blooming Lotus Birth Services dot com would be too long?

Could you shorten it to Blooming birth services? I like the lotus part as well but if you want the web name maybe shortening it and then using the lotus as the logo would work.

I was thinking the same thing! The shortened name would work well with the lotus logo.

I would, but one of the ladies here already had the name Bloom! Birth Services, and I don't want a name that is too similar.

I like the whole thing, BLooming LOtus Birth Services. I wouldn't shorten it -- arene't there a lot of other doula sites that use blooming-something? Or in-bloom-something? I like the full thing.

Hey I just found that the domain name www. blooming-lotus .com was available, what do you think of that?

I like Blooming Lotus Birth Services! For your website, maybe just bloominglotusbirth.com? For my business I reserved goddessmotherbirth.com because I thought adding "services" in there would make it too long.

I like the Blooming Lotus name, but I'm partial to lily flowers (check out my siggy) lol.

As for the website, I think using blooming-lotus.com is good.

I was just going to suggest www.bloominglotusbirth.com as well. Personally, I would stay away from the hyphenated web name, I think it could make it hard for people to find your site.

I *love* the name Blooming Lotus Birth Services! It's unique and really catchy. I like Natural Beginnings as well (I had actually considered that name myself!) but think your other idea is better.

Good luck deciding! I know it's hard.

Thanks for the suggestion. I, myself, had wondered about the hyphenation. I want to try to stay away from that as well as .net and org.'s. Just my personal preference. I think it is harder to find with hyphinations and the above mentioned.

I like the longer version.

I am planning on using In Bloom Doula Services, myself.

Hi,
I prefer Natural Beginnings - to me it flows better and when I see it or hear it I find it relaxing. In theory I like the other name but it sounds a bit too wordy for me. I guess Lotus Birth Services is already taken?

I don't think Lotus Birth Services is taken, I don't think that I have actually looked :

I guess I like the Blooming Lotus because when I was in labor with my DD, I visualized a lotus blooming, just like my cervix, through out my contractions and I feel it really helped me to have such a quick labor.
