Gift for baby question

I was thinking that I wanted to give my clients' babies those newborn shirts that say something like "I love my doula". I'm talking about a shirt like this http://www.snootybootydiapers.com/st...mbs=No&Thumbs= (scroll down to the newborn homebirth shirt). My question is, where do I find something like that? Any ideas? TIA

why not buy the onsies and take them to a print shop. Most of those places can make a design for you and print it relatively cheap.

I was going to suggest cafepress too. I've never ordered from them, so can't comment on quality, but they have a ton of great stuff!

Honestly, depending on your client numbers, cafepress could be more expensive than having your own printed!
Check out www.wholesalebabyblanks.com. They will email you back and give you a username and password to view their price list, but I can tell you that plain pink, blue, or yellow onesies are $3 a piece (they sell them in packs of 6), and white is $2.58. They also have other onesies, infant pants, and toddler clothes and accessories for both, like bibs and caps. If you have your own design made, it may help you more in the end...you could also have a shirt design for your business made on the same transfer if they shirt place does transfers. That's what I did. I have a transfer made up that has my logo large enough for the back of shirts or tote bags, then it has a smaller logo to put on onesies or sleeves, then it has 3 shirt "fronts" with sayings I wanted to promote my doula work (it's posted in the market place). I just proofed my breastfeeding shirts designs about 2seconds ago and I included on those transfers a design to go one onesies that says, "Mommy's Doula 's Me!" in little kid-like handwriting. Then I have 3 more onesie designs on that transfer for breastfeeding, and three adult shirt breastfeeding designs. That's 25 transfers with 8 garment designs on each for $113 for 3 colors, and it's the same as screen printing! Divide that by 8 and each shirt (without the shirt or onesie cost) will only cost me $0.56 to print!!!!!! Now THAT's a deal!!!
I hope that helps! Oh, and the point of me making all of those is because I'm going to post them in the mraket place, and my hubby is going to optimize a page for me to sell them on my website...passive income is groovy! :lelephant

Sounds pretty cheap but (for ME) if I had to spend 8 hours or so doing all that running around when I could have attended a birth in the same amount of time. That would actually cost me about $500 as compared to uploading a design to cafepress.com clicking purchase and waiting for them to come in the mail.

You can do them even cheaper on your own. You can buy the t-shirt transfers and onsies and print them on your printer and iron them on. I used to make shirts with my business name and literally the longest part about it was waiting for the iron to get hot I saved the photo on my computer and whenever I needed it I would click, print and iron on.

i'm doing something similar but i'm using a contact that i have who only uses organic cotton onesies and organic ink. it's not the cheapest option but it's the most erath friendly i can find.

herwebsite isn't really up and running yet but you can contact her through it. www.weewisdoms.com

I did a lot of pro-life t's that way and some gifts for friends and their kiddos. They have improved them ALOT; even in the past couple of years! It is a GREAT option if you only want a couple shirts. Just don't forget to check and see if you have to invert the image! Actually, I am wearing one today that I made last year that says, "Choosey Moms Choose Life" It's so cute
