Ladies:
I have hired someone to do a logo for me... here are the preliminary's, what do you think? Suggestions? I am leaning toward 1 & 3 right now.

I like 1 or 3 best, also. I'm not sure which one of those I like the best, though. #2 looks the least feminine to me and maybe even more corporate looking.
I like #1 or #3, I can't decide which. The illustration on #3 is pretty, but I'm not sure I'm really digging the wording. I tend to read it as "Doula Wiregrass Services" and that just sounds awkward to me .
First of all, these are absolutely phenomenal!!! Ladies THIS is why it is worth the investment to hire a professional. You could choose any of them and it would be an amazing branding for your business. I think the first one does a great job of integrating the name of your business though, so it would probably be my pick. Woohoo!

I think so too, I am just not sold on the colors I think... I feel like it is too bright, and I'd rather have it be softer. What do you think?

The colors are very bold but I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing. Color is great if you use it wisely with a good balance of negative/white space. If you plopped that sucker on a brochure with alot of bright pink color blocks, then it would be too much. If you wanted to tone the colors down a bit it will still look good and have a great effect. Like this:
Yeah, I like the one on the right that Emily shows. The colors are a little darker and easier on the eye, IMO (nice job, Emily).
Me too, nice job! Ok, well I let him know about the color thing, told him I wanted it a little bit "softer", lets see what he does with it. I also told him about the odd word placement in the 3rd one. I'll let him do the work. I'm paying for it afterall.

this may sound picky but I don't like the slope of the breast on the first one. I don't know why that stands out to me but it was the first thing that I looked at. I love everything else about it, though.
I definitely like the shape of the third one but the image looks a bit like a swan (and I agree that the wording needs to be rearranged to read Wiregrass Doula Services. From a distance, I prefer the third one because of the shape. I think it'll be easiest to use on printed materials when you consider being able to place it on a brochure or business card. Could you combine the two and have the preggie image with the layout of the third logo? (just my thoughts)
