Doula groups

Hi,
For those of us who work with a doula group how do you set up your structure? Specifically...

1. How do you work fees and payments? Is there a portion of each fee that goes back into the business?

2. How do you decide who gets what birth? Is it up to the client? Do you work on a rotating schedule? Or some combination of these?

3. What are the perks and limitations to doulas who are a part of the group?

Thanks!
Shawna

I'll be joining a group as soon as I get my certification. They combine the two. An assigned client calls with no preference to who their doula is and is assigned one from a rotating list. They get the groups prenatal package and sign a contract with the group. The fee is 385. Also they have private hire which is when a client reads bios and wants a specific person. The doula is responsabile for providing a prenatale package and doing a contract with them. That fee is 550. The doula pays the group $50 and keeps the rest from both clients.
