Press Release??

Has anyone written a press release? What sort of things do you include? How long or short should it be? I obviously have no clue as to what to include.
I'd like to send out a PR to the local radio stations (we have 2) to see if they will run it on air or do an interview. I'd like to focus on May being International Doula month.
Would you include quotes from former clients? Or their contact info (w/permission of course) so the station could interview them if desired? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I got mine from the DONA website. I also used the one on my Happiest Baby support CD. Which reminds me....I need to recontact the local editor of my paper that I sent a release to a couple of weeks ago and he said they would be interested in doing a full page story in a couple of weeks. I think I will remind him of that. Thanks!
