It is a lovely site and I think over time you will add thuings and change things up. My only comments are these ...
1. The nav bar across the top was missed by me, until I was looking for it. Is there anyway that you can put it down the side? It was just hard to see.

2. Maybe put in your "About Me" page why you chose your name "Ganesa Birth Services". As in who is Ganesa (i know, but some may not) and what is her role within birthing. And maybe an image here and there.

The colour scheme is beautiful and I love that pic of you and your daughter. Best of luck and it is always fun to tinker.

alas the nav bar is part of the prearranged format. I am sure i could try to move it, but I am not confident about that.

Great idea about adding info on Ganesa! Thanks for that tip!

Lightbulb

It's great I love the colors!
My only critique is What a doula is/what a doula is NOT. It doesn't blend well, and forgive me if I can't explain it.
A doula is someone who ________ - that' s fine, but then
As your doula I will not _________- seems off a bit.
May be a doula is not someone who will ______________
You go from general (what a doula is) to personal (As your doula I will not). KWIM? Am I making any sense?

Is there a place where you tell the potential client what city you live in or where you will provide services? I might have missed it. When people are searching the internet for a doula that information should be very visible. Great job on the web site. It's beautiful.

Doula hugs,
Sara

spelling error accomadate on page with Services Basic Doula Package.
i think the dark colors are a bit too dark...
What do your services include? i think you should ask What do my serviced include?
and i am curious as to how your baby wearing class and cloth diapering class takes two hours- are you doing more than just demo and hands on training?

Looking good Ganesa! I for one love the colors, they are very unique. The pictures are wonderful and your content is fantastic.

A couple little design things to think about:
- the full width of the site bothers me, for people with small monitors/resolutions this probably is fine but for me each paragraph is stretched so far across it is hard to read. See pic: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...tes/buggy6.jpg
In order to fix this you have to define the width of your website in your stylesheet. My guess is that it would be listed under #pageWrapper. Webstandards recommend a fixed width of no more than 800px.
- I think you should break down and buy a domain name. They are only $9 a year at godaddy.com and www.ganesabirthservices.com is SO much more professional looking on a business card than http://ganesabirthservices.bravehost.com
- When you entered your metatags keywords you needed to include the cities you serve and also list them in the content of your website (at least the home page). This will help search engines index you properly so you can be found in searches.
- The navigation at the top of the site is clean but small. I don't know how much control you have over the site but you can fix this in your stylesheet under #siteNavigation, you should be able to change the height property to make it jump out a little more. It's also my personal recommendation not to have more than 6 or 8 navigation items total, to make a more condensed user experience.

When I tried to remove some of the buttons, it COMPLETELY jacked up the top of the screen. That navagation bar has been the bane of my existence. I am going to make it taller, I like that idea, and I totally agree about limiting what's up top, I just can't figure out how!

Oh, and I have EVERY intention of buying a domain name, just haven't gotten there yet!! Thank you SO much!

I think there is actually a very easy way to change the width, off to go explore now!

Can you move the "Service Details" and "Other Services Details" button over next to the "Services" one?

That is SOOOOO much better Sabbath! It is way easier to read with the smaller width. The navigation is okay, but I'm sure as you get used to editing it, it will be easier to improve. up
