Very Strange Business Question

I have an odd question. Does anyone know what the in's and out's are to opening up a birthing center? What the legal requirements ect might be in place? Who would need to be involved ect ect?

It's become an odd 'dream' sort of. If I never obtain it, that would be okay, but, I just want to dream

So, what do you ladies know about this? Or do you?

Oh, are you going through midwifery training?

I was just talking with a freind today about how we need more midwives!
As for a birthing center, I was wondering the same thing. We need one here, methinks.

I hope/plan/dream of doing this after I am a RM in my city... I have no idea on all that is required for it, but sounds like others on here have pointed you in the direction you need to go.
