Money question.

I've got someone who is interested in hiring me for breastfeeding support. I'm not a lacation councellor but I've got lots of breastfeeding experience.

My question is, how much would I charge for such a thing. She doesn't want a doula for the birth so I'm not sure how to charge her for just breastfeeding. Any hints would be helpful.

Also, besides CAPPA, how does one get an education in breastfeeding, like a consultant or councellor or educator?

Thanks,
K.

Hi Kimberley I suggest hopping over to our breastfeeding forum and you'll find lots of info on bf education. As for fees-how about charging her an hourly rate like you would for PP work???
