This is the coolest!
Like I said in the birth stories, we had a client in March and her baby girl was born in her water. It was so neat to watch the water start crowning. Then when she got closer, you could see her hair floating!!! The bag didn't bread until after her shoulders were out.
Thanks for posting it again cause I would probably forget where I saw that! I wanna make sure that I show Sarah if her puter isn't working.

very Cool,
I just finished reading "The Birth House", and they talked about the caul, and how it was so special. I guess they used to save it and it was supposed to be magical or something.
But I never knew exactly what they were talking about. Now I do!
Thanks.
Michele

That is amazing! I opened the pic last night and my father and brothers were here ... hahaha, what a shock to their system. Anyway, yes I have hear things about babies born in Caul ... the gift of second sight. The protaganist (wow, haven't used that word since H.S ) in "The Birth House" was born in Caul and her midwife told that is why strange things always happen to her. Either way it is very cool. And that is why it breaks my heart everytime a doc breaks a woman's waters ... I mean if there is no imminent danger why not wait and perhaps witness this incredible event!

Thats awesome! My cousin was born with the caul. Isn't it supposed to be a charm against drowning? I also heard people born with it have "the Sight" or something.
