Cappa Conference
There's a very good chance I';; be able to go this year. Kirk bought an airline ticket for a freind who didn;t use it, It has to be used within a year so I asked if I could go and he saud YES!!!!!
So when is it? Does anyone have an extra bed in theri room? How many of us will be there?

 It's the 7th-10th though I think the 7th is just registration and they also have registration the next morning. I'll be there

Well, I think the baby fair is that following weekend. Problem is getting dh to book the flight this close to the date. I also HAVE to bunk with someone, he surely isn't going to go for $99 a night! Anyone still up for a roomie? I can go either way(not that way Cathy!!!) I can party with the best of them or go to bed early and get up early.
Please, Please, Please, let me know soon.

Jill if you want to use a rollaway bed, I have a king room I'm sharing with Grace McCloud. I think it would cost about 150 for Wed-Sat.

Thanks Val! I have a client due Sept 11th but I'm sure she'll deliver before that. It's my very dear freind Arianne. We've (the midwifes and me) had to put her on complete bedrest for about a week at 31 weeks. I checked her a few weeks later and her Os was tight but she was nearly 90% effaced (felt like jello) and the outer part of her cervix was about 3 cm. She hit 36 weeks yesterday so now we're a go with the homebirth. So I fully expect her to go any minute now. Yesterday she had a cont that brought her to her knees. She labors 8-10 hours every day. 4-6 contractions in an hour all day, then it stops between her son coming home from school and dinner time.  Can't have a baby if your caring for an older sibling, you know?
So back to Cappa, Kirk's going to give me all the info tonight so I can try to book a flight. I soooooo hope this actually happens!
