New ideas for first prenatal visit please!

Hi ladies,

I would like to add a little more ACTION to my FIRST prenatal visits with clients (second prenatal is going really great so far).

I want to make them THE BEST first prenatal visits, I want parents to be impressed by exceeding their expectations!

Any suggestions, ideas or tricks you would like to share?

I always end the first prenatal with a foot massage. It increases the intimacy level between you and makes them more accepting and comfortable with physical touch from you.

I intentionally structure my first prenatal to be all about them. What are their needs, expectations, what are their experiences with childbirth, etc. I want them to feel I really took time to know them, listen to them and more importantly that I *heard* them. So it's all about them.

Then our second and third prenatals are all action and learning.

What do you do at your 1st right now? That may help us spice it up.

Remember, too, because we do this all the time it can get boring to us, but it's always new to the couples we work with. I change things a lot because I don't like boring myself, lol. but I do keep in mind, it's always fresh to them .
