hip pain

a client who gave birth on 1-9 is having lingering hip joint pain. she rates it as pretty painful, can't sleep on her side at all. she was a vbac and baby got "stuck" just above pubic bone and wouldn't descend, she had a c/s, probably due to a broken/crooked tailbone preventing the baby from coming through. her OB says the hip pain could last 3-6 mos and is due to bruising from the baby sitting in that one spot for so long.

any words of advice would be greatly appreciated. i hate that thought that she is going to be in pain for MONTHS. everything else is going really well for her.

Physio or Chiro are probably her best actions. Is there anyone you would recommend her to that you trust?
