Have my first client!
I had my second in-person interview and it looks like I've got my first client! (The first person I interviewed with decided she feels she doesn't need a doula, but still wants me to help with breastfeeding). We got along really well, and talked for just slightly over an hour. We both had our little ones there, so of course they were a little distracting. 
I'm super excited! My client is due early May with her 3rd child, and it will be her second VBAC without medication, at a hospital. I need to study up a little more on VBACs. She breastfed both of her other children, so she is all about that. She is also giving birth where I gave birth, so I know the routine and most of the "rules" there. That will be very helpful. Our first prenatal visit is mid-February.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement! Any advice would be appreciated. |
