Thumbs up Vietnamese cure for nausea

OK, so this is not really a Vietnamese cure for morning sickness, but rather a Vietnamese drink that happens to be really good for my nausea. Also, a Vietnamese friend of mine sipped it while she had the stomach flu last month and it helped her a lot.

It's called soda-chanh and basically it is 2 parts limeade and 1 part club soda in a tall glass and you can also add a teaspoon of sugar (I have been ommitting it lately). I hate drinking fluids but I can tolerate this well and it has really helped with my nausea. Just passing it along....

Yeah me too - thanks! I know sipping Coke with ice helps too.

Ginger is also good for nausea. You can drink ginger tea, ginger ale, and Altoids makes a ginger mint that you can suck on. It has always helped me.

I love limeades and club soda. So I'm guessing I'd really like this drink also. Thanks Ceci. Lime Perrier is yummy.
