Birth Kits?? Help!

I am busy putting together some birth kits that my clients can order through me directly. I have pretty much organized the labour packs, but I need some suggestions for the home birth kits please!! The independent midwives here bring all the medical equip ie: syringes/oxygen equip etc but everything else is supplied by mom. What would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

Check out 1cascade.com and look at their birth kits. They offer a few different ones. A few things that my midwives asked for besides what was in the birth kit from there was a big bowl for the placenta, a bottle of peroxide and a bottle of rubbing alcohol.

Things for homebirth:

Inflatable Fishy pool by Intex
Electric pump for this pool
Large bucket (the type for mopping the floor) to be used for bailing water out of pool
Large bowl for placenta
Chux pads galore
Some after ease tincture for afterbirth pains - I got mine from cascade
Bottom balm from earth mama angel baby
Arnica for swelling/afterbirth pain
Lansinoh
Mothers milk tea
post partum herbs for bath
Sitz bath
Peri bottle
post partum tea (earth mama angel baby has some)
Some drop cloths for waterproofing the bed and underneath the pool

I know I'll think of more...

Me too. They are resonably priced and fast on the shipping. They are in Texas if I remember right.
Why don't you ask a few of the local mw and see what they want in a kit??

Now that I have my own HB supply list in front of me here are the things I left off:

Shower curtain liner to drape over the birth pool and keep water warm
hose and faucet adaptor to fill up birth pool
post partum pads or depends underwear
comfrey tea to soak pp pads in
bendy straws
and fish net to fish any "debris" out of the birthing pool
