Teaching a class, need some advice

I have been asked if I could teach a relaxation/refresher childbirth class for someone. I don't have my CBE but I have done relaxation classes with public health. I guess my questions are:
Would this be a one night thing?
What would you go over with regard to the childbirth part?
How much would you charge?

I wouldn't mind doing it but I guess I'm not sure where to start?

Cheers,
K.

In the class I teach for the hospital we go over the physical changes in pregnancy (sometimes they are not experiencing a pregnancy like their last one so it can be nice to now what is different and whether it is normal. Stages of labor (often times they forget or didn't get the information the first time around). I talk about cesarean birth and vbac-ing. I also go over comfort options and medications and then I also talk about the postpartum period (things they should expect and also a tad bit about how to deal with siblings and the new baby). I teach all of that at the hospital in three hours and it is a one night class.

As far as charging goes - it all depends on how much classes in your area go for. Just like doula prices vary drastically from area to area so does the price of classes.

Good luck - can't wait to hear how it goes
