Any Doulas near Garland TX?

Mods, I really hope it is ok to post this, if not let me know and I will delete it.

There is a mother over at MDC who is looking for a doula near Garland TX that is willing to doula at a reduced rate, she is open to a doula who is not yet certified. She really wants a doula but cannot afford the full fee. This is her second child and she's having a HB. I figured I would post it over here in case anyone in that area is looking for certification births and discounting their rate.

If you are interested I can give you her mothering screenname, or you could just go over to MDC and look for her thread in the "birth professionals" forum.

Hi Jilian -

I am close enough to Garland and she may even be using my MW who is out of Garland. I went over to MDC and couldn't find her post - did they move it?

I'm about 45 minutes away. Depending on when she's due I might be able to take her.

Thanks for posting that Heather. Susan - I put a vote in for you. I owe you big time for sending Tammie my way! They are the sweetest couple and their classes have been great!

Yep, that is the post. I think it would be great if someone can help her. She seems to really value doulas so I don't think it is just a case of a mom looking for a freebie.
