Odd question... just curious...
Have any of you been asked to come to a birth where everyone is totally nude? Midwife, (or if theres no midwife) doula, mom, dad...
everyone, NEKED!
I heard about that from one midwife, she said that her client wanted everything to be "free and easy, unrestricted" she asked if she couldjust wear a big muumuu. 
I was just curious if any of you ever got that!

never got it and would never do it...I would not feel "free and easy" that is for sure. My worn in breasts would not feel easy either flapping around..LOL! I am totally fine with anyone else who wants to be naked, mom's are always naked anyway but that is a strange request of everyone else.

Never been to a nudist birth, but have supported plenty of nude mamas.

I've supported nude mommas, too, but NEVER everyone else naked!  Nope....I couldn't do it either.  |

Umm I don't mind if the mom is nude.. but I wouldn't do it if everyone else is naked also... sorry...

Lol yep, if you want me to actually work, you better let me wear a bra. I've had a couple of dads in the shower and tub nekkid with their wives but on one I just handed towels and verbal encouragement through the door and the other one had a shower curtain. No problem. Can you imagine someone asking a doctor to get nekkid to catch the baby? Hahahahahaha!

A mumu is a simple loose sack type of dress, used to be about the only thing available for pregnant women and now are often warn by elderly women in the south. I must say, they are very comfortable but not flattering at all!

LMAO! Yes, there are definately nudist birthing experiences out there.
A muumuu is a Hawaiian dress - often long, shapeless, and flowery... It's hard to describe so you'll just have to see one, lmao! Here's a pic of a typical muumuu (and look - itty bitty muumuu's ).

I had a birth mom and a partner mom naked at an intended waterbirth this weekend... but the rest of us had clothes on. Though I do hate clothes and I'd probably be the first to chuck them if asked! But I'd have to leave my socks on because I hate my feet and I hate it when people look at them..... I'm so weird!

I wouldn't mind some eye candy from a good looking dad, especially if it is a long birth.
