Post Pregnancy Dream Research

I wanted to pass this along for any clients you might have willing to participate in pregnancy dream research.

The International Association for the Study of Dreams is a non-profit, international, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the pure and applied investigation of dreams and dreaming.

One of the members - Marena Koukis - is currently collecting dreams from any woman who is pregnant, or man who is expecting a child and is willing to offer a written account of a dream that they have had during that time. The only participation required for the study is a signed consent form and the dream write up. All info will be entirely confidential, and the dreams will only be identified as from a man or a woman, age, and trimester. Both consent form and dream write up can be sent over email so the process is quick and easy. If you have any questions, or if you or somebody you know may be interested in participating please email: dreaming@sonic.net

Thanks. I passed this on to my friens who is three and a half months pregnate, and having very weird dreams! I would love to know the findings, or hear some of the other strange dreams.

Hmmmm, would they be willing to hear dreams from past pregnancies? I have very vivid dream recal and am a lucid dreamer (which means I know I'm dreaming and can change my dreams) I had a recurring dream with Kelsey that I remember in minute detail. just wondering. Maybe I should go check them out anyway, once my mother and I dreamed the same exact dream! I was asleep on the floor by her bed and told her the dream when I woke up, she was white as a ghost!

Man, I'm just over 9 weeks and I have crazy, crazy and very vivid dreams...always have when I'm . Just the other day, dh and i were in the car and I was like, "oh, yeah, that reminds me of a dream I had last night...." told him the dream, then told him about two or more dreams I'd had the same night. Finally, he was like, " What's with your dreams? " I was like, "HELLO! I'm pregnant!" Any way....I'm gonna look into it!

Me too. I get vivid, long and detailed dreams just before my periods and during pregnancy.
