Anybody have any clients go over the holiday?

Of course we still have New Years to come, but did anyone attend any births over the holidays? Did they go well?

Some of you may remember that I was supposed to be on-call for a client with a Jan. 7 due date. She had her baby Dec. 23, though, the day before I was to officially go on-call.....and while I was away on my 2-night anniversary trip!!!

I don't go on-call again until Jan. 10 for a Jan. 24 due date.

yeah, i wrote about it in a couple other threads. Called out at 7pm Dec 24 and home by 8am Dec 25. Now i'm back-up for a Jan client and a March client then my next one is in May.

Not over Christmas Eve or Day, but I was called to a birth the Friday before and didn't get home until the morning of Christmas Eve. Long birth - 2 1/2 hours of pushing, baby wouldn't budge, cesarean!

i've got a lady in prodromal labor right now that i'm hoping holds off till at least tomorrow for the real thing to kick in lol i'm not even technically on call for another week for her.
