Hi Tiff,

Is it possible to add a search function that'll bring up all threads updated/posted within a time frame e.g. past 48 hours, week, month??

This feature is available under the search feature in the pink task bar. Once you bring down the search there is an "advanced search" option that will allow you to choose
since you last visit
yesterday
a week ago etc.

There are two options that are close to what you are asking.

One is under "quick links" in the pink taskbar...it gives you the option to read all of todays posts.

The other is at the bottom of each forum. If you open the General Doula forum (for instance) and scroll down to just under the list of threads there is an option to change how the threads are displayed. Here you will find the option to only display threads from the last day, last two weeks etc.

Unfortunately, I don't see a way to get those results from the entire forum at once, though.

One other option is by using the "new posts" link in the pink task bar. If you mark all of the forums as read and then use that link you'll get a message offering to view all of the posts from the past 24 hours. Unfortunately, you lose the option to jump directly to the last post you've read in that thread but it is helpful some times!

I'm sure Tiffany will let us know if it is even an option to add that kind of link. It would be helpful after being away from the computer for any amount of time.

Is there any way a feature can be added to the current thread rating system so that we can change our ratings as the thread changes over time?

Not an important feature request, but one I find myself wishing for every now and then.

Is there any way to put the bar at the bottom too? The one that has new threads, search, etc. I know it sounds lazy, but I hate scrolling back up to the top. heehee

There's actually a quick-link that will send you to the top of the page in a flash. If you click on the link that says "^To Top" it'll beam you up... Scotty.

But the too the top link is at the very bottom of the page. You still have to scroll down to get to the "up" link.

I like to call it mouse efficiency, sounds so much better than lazy.
