Forums 101

Could someone give me a little tutorial on how to use these forums in the most efficient manner?

I thought I had it all figured out, but sometimes when I go back to a thread, and I use the little shortcut icon to go to the first unread post, it's taking me past where I last read in the thread.

SO...when I finish reading one thread, what should I click to go back to the list of threads?

And when I finish reading in that forum, what to click to go back to the list of forums?

Etc....

Thanks in advance, almighty AllDoulas gurus!

to the best of my understanding lol the new posts "time out" after so long even if you haven't read them. It took me a very long time to figure this out lol

As for navigating the forum I typically use my browsers back button to go back to the forum or I'll use the forums list link just below the alldoulas logo at the top of each page.

Well, maybe I've been doing it right all along, then. Cuz that's exactly what I do, Christy!

It's good to know that the messages "time out," though. I did not know that.

Thanks, Christy!

If you find your "New Posts" time out before you have the chance to read them, select the "Today's Posts" option from the "Quick Links" drop-down menu on the pink toolbar running across the top of the page.
