Question Questions about bellycasting

I'm thinking about trying this. Where could I get enough supplies for just one? (Or would it be better to go ahead and buy it in bulk so it's cheaper? I could always sell what's left over if I end up not doing it.) I'd like to try and see if this is something I'd do. Also, how much do supplies average and how much is your profit?

if you are going to just give it a try and do one- then just go to the hobby store and buy the rigid wrap in the plaster area- use vegetable shortening like crisco to cover the area being cast... profit - hmmm i think there is more profit in decorating them than doing them per se...

Yep I haven't ever made much of a profit from a cast. I can buy the supplies for 1 for $25. If I was able to buy the supplies in bulk, it would of course be more profitable but I don't do enough of them to warrent that initial expense. Of course, my location is a big factor. I think if you could get $25 profit from one, you would be doing great.
