Defrosting henna?

I froze my henna a couple of weeks ago after it did its dye release thing. How do I defrost it? I'm ready to give it a try, but don't want to ruin it in the defrosting process.

Just set it out on the counter for an hour or so. For a quick defrost I heat up my rice bag and set it in between that folded over. It's not real good for the stain though so don't do it like that too often.

I didn't even know you could freeze it. How neat is that?! You guys are giving me the itch to do some more doodles.

Henna SHOULD be frozen. If it is left to sit out, the stain will expire. That's why it's not good to buy from most local stores. You have no idea how long it has been sitting out on the shelf or in their warehouse.

So the dried stuff you buy that has to be reconstituted is not good? It worked for my belly art. Where should you buy it from to get good stuff?

I'm not saying it's not good, only that unless it is fresh and been stored properly, it's not as good as it could be. You can buy garunteed fresh henna from any of the Certified Dealers on the Henna Page.

You can buy directly from Catherine:
http://www.mehandi.com/shop/

Or any of these suppliers:
