Belly casting on clothes?

I saw a belly casting photo and the woman who was being casted had on a shirt. I didn't realize you could belly cast on top of clothes. I figured the cast would look all wrinkley, etc. Is this not true? And does the casting not stick to the clothes?

I don't know but I wouldn't think it would work very well. Perhaps the mom had a shirt on and then was wrapped in Saran Wrap or something. The plaster would certainly get in the clothing and may deform the cast when you try to take it off. That's what I see in my mind anyways.
