Time to thaw out your henna, girls.
Ok so you've got a good start. What are you doing recently? The best way to get better is to practice. That henna in your freezer is calling your name...
My hand is finally faded enough to warrant a new one. I try to always keep my hand hennaed as it works great as advertisement. Oh I love working on new patterns too. I like doing my own though admitedly, they do not always turn out as good as looking at someone else's work and trying to do the same (or good at all). Tonight I am getting a little award and my aunt is presenting it at her house so it will be a late night and I wont have time. Too bad as I will miss showing off my henna to all the people who will be there. Guess I can show them my leg. I'm thinking tomorrow night I have a date with the cone.

As a non-heanna-er, who just likes looking, I'm curious as to why henna is kept in the freezer!

I did a new one on my other foot, I'll post the pics later or tomorrow, too lazy to upload them right now, lol.
Becky - you keep it in the freezer to prevent it from going bad. The henna will only stain for so long, then it loses its ability, but if you freeze it, it will stay good for months.

well I am going to buy my henna this week. I have people to practice on. I am hoping it is as fun an I am imagining it is going to be.

Yep, since henna is a plant, it only stays fresh for so long unless it is frozen. Then it will stay fresh for years actually, sealed up well of course, just like other vegetable matter.
