Wow...this is sooo beautiful!!!
Do you use patterns or this is free-hand art?
Is there a special reason for dping the plam of the hand?
I don't have any experience on henna, but plan to practice with my pregnant friend this upcoming week. I am very excited and am looking everywhere in alldoulas for some inspiration, I love your work Georganne!

Not a pattern but I was inspired by this design by Henna Junkie. I free handed as I do most of my work. The palm of the hands and the soles of of the feet are the traditional henna locations as they have the most layers of skin to stain making the stain darker and last longer. Do a search for my henna 101 post to get a lot more information. Did you mix your own henna? Do you have a design picked out for your friend already? How fun.
