My first, real henna client.
She found me on the internet and called me. She is doing a paper on traditional henna so wanted to get one to show during her presentation. I got paid and even got a pretty good tip. I didn't charge very much because I told her I was new at it. She was very happy with it though Cool.

Great job!! I think it's beautiful!!Do you plan on using it on pregnant clients? I've heard, seen and love the idea of having your belly done when you are pregnant. I would love to learn how to do that. Was it difficult to learn? I betcha have to have a steady hand and lots of patience!!! Well done!!

Yes I do bellies lol. It is not difficult to learn but it is time intensive. Kind of like being a doula. You can help someone as a doula just by being a pair of caring hands and have a loving heart. You can be a better doula if you know what the research says, know your hospital protocals, and know the level of birth education your client has. That comes with an investment of time and energy.
Learning the details of henna (both the noun and the verb) takes research and experimentation. There is no one way to mix, no one recipie. |
