My newest henna, something different.
This is my first big back design. The picture is with the paste on. I sealed it with diluted elmers glue and she left it on overnight. The stain turned out good. I normally free hand but since this was such a big area I used a water pencil to sketch in some guidelines first. You can see that in a couple of places, but it comes right off and doesn't interfer with the staining process. She is on her way to some jazz fest in New Orleans today.

Very pretty--you are quite talented, i would end up just doing stick figures
I thought I read a while back that henna was now considered toxic? Or something like that?

This is why, as a henna artist, one needs to know their business. Pure henna is not toxic. The problem is with "black henna" which contains PPD, which is and/or can be toxic, nasty, scaring stuff. Make sure your henna artists is qualified.

We were joking after I added the triangle filler in the large area. I told her that it looked a bit reptilian. She said "yea, that fits because I am cold blooded!" (Keep in mind, young, pretty, single woman going to the Jazz Fest.) It was funny at the time lol.
