treating gbs naturally

Hi Ladies -
I have read a protocol for treating group B strep with holistic methods rather than antibiotics, and cannot find the protocol anywhere. Any suggestions?

At my doula workshop they recommended Grapefruit Seed Extract (in pill form, easy to find at health food stores). Might be something you could research.

At my Hypnobirthing Doula Training the midwife/trainer talked about a 5 night garlic in the vajay, you have to peel, punchure it and get the juices flowing. There is also the hydrogen proxyde douche. It is 3parts (cup) water 1part (cup) HP. hold at arms length while in the tub semi-reclining and do kegels to hold it in.

not necessarily. Some OBs say once + always +, but you can test + one week and - the next. I was going to retest but ended up having Henry

I was heavily colonized with my daughter, but came up negative with my son. With my son, I was on daily antibiotics for the last 3 months for recurrent UTIs and I did the garlic protocol just prior to testing, so those things might have changed my results.

The thread #7 has the protocol I followed for 2 weeks and I tested -ve! I was also -ve for DD though....I did ask my OB and she told em I could be negative one day and positive the other....
