heart burn
anyone have any good heart burn releif tricks? i've got a client in reflux agony and we've exhausted most of my tricks.

yup tried papaya, aloe juice, a few otc antacids, sticking to a raw food diet as much as possible while still trying to get in some good protein, the sort.

The raw food diet could be contributing to it as your stomach has to produce more acid to break down raw foods and milk products. Good luck to her. That was the one bad thing that plagued both my pregnancies terribly.

Half glass of milk/ half glass 7up ---worked like a charm for me. It sounds gross but it is actualy not too bad.

my sister who is studying to be a chiropractor says that she read somewhere that if you use OTC antacids followed by OJ that should help - She can't remember why and I am having her see if she can find the article she read. As soon as she finds it I will post again.

papaya, & apple cider vinger three times a day with meals ( about a tablespoon with honey & water).I know the later one is weird,but it works! There's more but I have to go & dig through some paper work to find what I wrote down
