Honestly, having used this myself,I would back it up 200 percent. My labors usually last anywhere from 7 hours(my first baby) over 24(my 3rd) but I took this with my 4th pregnancy, and since I have so much predrom labor,my labor lasted about 1 1/2 hours, minimal pp bleeding. This is a great kick starter for VBAC moms who have a lot of "Braxton Hicks" contractions, because this product helps those contractions to do more :0).I will def. be using this again...I am due in Sept,30 weeks right now,and will be starting it in a few weeks! This was originally recommended to me by my midwife of 6 years,I recently moved, and my new midwife had never heard of it,but after reading all of the ingredients says she thinks it sounds wonderful and cant wait to see the results first hand

I have used a product very similar to this (I bouught it at an herb store here right before ordering the Polly formula); it's a 5-W formula with all the same herbs. I have super LONG labors (as in 15 hours for baby #7, with lots of pre labor contractions ---days worth) and I had a 2 hour labor with the herbs (I delivered 15 minutes after getting to the hospital)with baby number 8 . With number 9 I took it and developed pre eclampsia at 40 weeks (no previous history) and had a four hour induction. Now, that being said, it is not a magic formula as my last vbac mom took it (on the advice of her midwife) and had 72 hours of labor. Also, you need to be really careful if you are already borderline with your bp. The black (or was it blue?) cohosh can raise your bp. I would check with your healthcare provider. I am now trying to figure out if I should take them this time....I liked using them but I don't know if they would just push my bp up over the edge.
