New AllDoulas Redesign and Features

New Site Redesign
I'm sure you've noticed by now that AllDoulas looks different! It may be a surprising change at first and is something you are not used to, but I assure you it is for the better and it will grow on you over time. The navigation in this design is much more efficient and visible than our old design. The website is much wider and uses a lot more of your browser's window, so there is more room to read posts. The colors are a bit more subtle and are hopefully more appealing to a wider audience.

New Marketplace
The old Marketplace consisted of regular forums where you could list your items to Buy, Sell or Trade. We've upgraded to an exciting new Classifieds system with extensive features. You can access the new Marketplace by click on the button in the top teal navigation bar. The new Marketplace has tons of categories to list your items for sale, one for WANTED items, and then a business directory to list your online store. If you have ads currently listed in the old Marketplace, please post them in the new Marketplace as the old one will be deleted soon.

Doula Mentor Exchange
Use the left sidebar navigation to click on the purple button for Doula Mentorships to visit the Mentor Exchange, which is a division of the Marketplace and functions just like it. You can post whether you'd like to mentor doulas, or if you are looking for a mentor. It's kind of a self-matching system--like Personals, except for doulas.

Upcoming: New Staff and New Forum List
Thank you to all who applied to become staff members here on AllDoulas. You will be hearing from me within the next couple days, and if you've been accepted we will discuss your assignments. Our Forum List will be expanding and changing a bit. We'll be adding categories and many much needed forums. Please make sure you are posting in the appropriate forums now, and when the new list has gone live. It really helps our staff out! I'm hoping to have the new forum list active by Monday. Wish me luck.
