Everyone, Tiffany just contacted me and asked me to post a message for her. As you read her message, you'll understand why this is going through me instead of directly from her. Please keep her and her baby girl in your prayers.

I am in the hospital right now on their extremely slow computer in the Antenatal Unit lounge. I have had bloody show and mild cramping Mon and Tues, and was checked by the midwives on Tuesday. When it continued on Wed, I told them I wanted a consult with an OB so I went into triage. The OB said I am 1cm, very soft and came out with the bloody show I've been having. He admitted me right away and I have been given steriods to help the baby's lungs mature in case this keeps progressing. The idea is I get to go home tomorrow after an ultrasound measures cervical length. I had a shower tonight though, and have been contracting a bit.

Since I am on this computer that is so painfully slow, can you make a post for me in Doula General Chat (since most people check there). I'd post but I'd be here a half hour waiting for the page to load. Anyways, I am on "minimal physical activity" for now. Wish me luck... talk to yuo soon

I hope and pray everything comes out fine with her and her baby...

When I was preg. I was sent to the hosp. for a flu of vomiting and diahar. and was there for 3 days b/c I stared to have contractions and they gave me steroids and it gave me terrible, terrible migraine headaches! but it stopped the contractions and all that stuff...

Oh my gosh - sending hugs and prayers. She isn't that far along is she? I thought she was only 20 some weeks.

Yeah she not far along...however I want to say she 24 -25 weeks ...not sure though.

She sure has been having a hard pregnany...does anyone know if she had problems with the first two? I thought she didn't but not sure. I hope the baby stays put.

According to her pregnancy calendar in her siggy, she's 27 +6 weeks today (6/02), 12 weeks +1 day to EDD.

Sorry, I haven't heard anything else since she contacted me last night. If she is sent home today, maybe she'll be able to update us herself. If not, then I'll let you all know if she contacts me again with an update.
