I am so pleased to announce this bit of exciting news to you all!

Since the birth of my 4th daughter, I've been very sad about the lack of time I have for AllDoulas. This community needs way more technical and administrative attention than I can possibly give right now, and sometimes the time I take to do those technical things really takes away from my small children. I'm sure you all agree that as mothers, we must do what's best for our families!

That's why I'd like to announce that AllDoulas has new ownership, a company called Escalate Media who specializes in family oriented communities. I'm thrilled about this move because now there is an entire technical team to call on when the communuty needs something. Actually, just this morning the "white space" issue on posts and the search box in the upper right corner were fixed in mere minutes of contact with them. My vision for AllDoulas has always been packed with things I could not produce due to time constraints, and now I can work on those things for you. That's the other great part about it--I'm not going anywhere! AllDoulas as usual.

I'd like to warmly welcome Janice, who is a Community Manager at Escalate Media, to AllDoulas! Janice will be working with me to ensure AllDoulas is running smoothly.

On behalf of Escalate Media, I would like to thank Tiffany for her hard work and the emotional investment that built this fantastic forum. It's a great site and we're proud to welcome it to the Pregnancy and Parenting group here at Escalate Media.

Thank you to the forum staff and members who have also invested their time to help build a dynamic, active community. It's important to me, and to EM, to maintain the vision that Tiffany has for the site. A place for Doulas around the world to network with others in their profession.

We're committed to keeping the AllDoulas Forum the same great site it's always been while leveraging some of our strengths – new servers and broad experience in site administration – to keep it growing.

Q: Why did Escalate Media acquire AllDoulas?
A: Our mission is to connect women and assist them in discussing areas of interest to them, AllDoulas users offer outstanding advice and support to a very special community.

Q: Will AllDoulas become part of another EM site?
A: No, our plans are to keep AllDoulas a separate, thriving site operating as it does today.

Q: What changes can we expect to see on AllDoulas?
A: For the most part, the site will remain essentially unchanged. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Administration is, of course, always open to suggestions on how to make the site better for it's members.

Q: Will my log-in or password change?
A: No you will still access AllDoulas as you always have.
