<font class="graybody">On the
survey 9% of you said the site is hard to navigate, 38% said you often miss announcements, and 23% do not know who their
forum leaders are or how to get help. Though I am not shocked by these results, I am concerned and want you to know
I am addressing them. We have outgrown our current navigation and style,
and a large (and expensive) advancement in this area is just a couple months down the road!
With the recent addition of our
Reviews Section (which will expand even further) and future additions of a mentor program, doula networking system, tons of articles, a section for parents to learn about doulas and find one in their area, more downloads, new challenges, and MUCH more;
AllDoulas will be taken to the next level.
On the survey, some non-Club members asked for more free downloads and free challenges for everyone. This leads me to believe that some don’t understand how this site is funded. Up until I released the
AllDoulas Club, it was all out of my own pocket. I am extremely grateful to the members who have signed up for the Club as it does provide some relief, but it doesn’t nearly cover as much as I’d hoped.
In order for me to take AllDoulas to the next level, I need a lot more funding. I recently released an
advertising program which I am hoping will be of good interest and will cover most of this next large expense, but whatever it doesn’t cover I am shelling out myself—because I KNOW it’ll be worth it for everyone.
With that said, as of
Wednesday next week (Feb 7<SUP>th</SUP>), the
AllDoulas Club fee will double. I’ll be offering a 6 month membership for $12 and a yearly membership for $24. I’m announcing this in advance to give you the opportunity to sign up now before the increase.
I also ask that if anyone can donate anything more, even $5, please use the PayPal "Make a Donation" button on the left pink sidebar, under the green "Articles of Interest" box. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can use a credit card (PM me for instructions). If you need an alternative method to send payment, just send me a PM.
