First Client - ROM this AM, no contractions

Hi ladies!

My first clients water broke this morning at 7:30. It is a high break and she is just having a trickle that fills a pad every once in a while. She is not having any contractions yet.

Around 10am she went to make herself her "super pregnancy tea" as she calls it, so try and get things started.

Any advice? I am probably going to go to her in a little while even if contractions haven't started, so I can go to the hospital with her. So far she hasn't called her OB, because she is NOT ready to go in.

I'm excited!

Good luck! I personally would wait until contractions have started to join her. It could be a long time before contractions start and I wouldn't want to be intrude on her privacy because that can keep contractions from coming.

Have her stay hydrated and eat something good. If contractions don't start soonish, I would recommend that you have her take her temperature every once in a while. Walking can help. Obviously no sex.
