Post Partum Visits

How long after the birth do you typically do your post partum visit? When do you call to schedule it?

I've found it to be difficult to try and schedule things after the baby is born, so I would recommend setting a certain day postpartum. Like day 3 or something. That way they will be expecting you that day no matter what.

I tend to tell the mother that I will call her about one week from when she comes home from the hospital and it is at that time we schedule the pp. I tend to do them around 2-4 weeks pp.
