I have attended 51 births, so I was just barely into the category of 51-100

I have attended I think 25, with 8 more definatly schedualed between now and January. So...since its only June, I am sure there should be even more than that by the end of the year.

I got my three certifying births lined up within a few months of each other and then I had to start turning clients away
My husband starting the process to retire from the army last fall and I didn't know if we'd be staying here or moving away. Around Nov he got a job here and we knew we were staying but his schedule wouldn't allow for me to attend births still. Now he's accepted a new job and we are due to move this month so I am hoping once we get settled into our new home I can start attending births again!
I am so excited about having friends and family to depend on for childcare (and a normal schedule for my husband) so I can back into the swing of things.

57 births since Sept 01. I'm hoping to get in another 3-4 before this baby comes.

over 100 since 2002. I have had 64 paying clients of my own, many others I have not counted or kept track of because they were unpaid and I was assisting another doula or a midwife. October will be my last client for awhile as I work to save money to attend midwifery schooling. I'm bummed, but happy to be moving foward to my ultimate goal.

That is great Kim! Goodluck in your midwifery studies

24 since Dec. 04. I've got a few more lined up before this baby comes and then I'll take a break for a little bit.

4 births, 3 as a doula, 1 as a TBA.

I have 2 lined up for November, I am not taking any clients unless they are due mid Oct or later as my nanny won't be here yet until then.

I've attended 5 births, with 2 of them as a doula. I have one in August and in the next month, I hope to be added to a volunteer list (Doula Services Association of British Columbia; DSA). Looking forward to it. It is a list that mostly helps lower income couples, single & teenage moms. So, I may be asking a whole lot of questions .

I am reminded now to recount, it's over 100.
I officially trained as a doula in 2001 (attended many births before knowing even the term doula) worked corporate job to 1 client per month, three years ago began doula passion full time... am I lucky or what?
