I just found this wonderful web site and joined immediately. I love my job as a doula and so enjoy the relationships formed with other doulas. I'm in the Shenandoah Valley, in Virginia and would love to hear anything and everything you would like to share.

I'm Lori, and I'm a Certified Labor Doula through CAPPA. I now live in Ohio with my dh and two teen boys. I'm mostly a SAHM, still homeschooling my 14 yr. old, but I go in to our local CNM's office about once a week to help out with reception work. It keeps my foot "in the door", which is a pretty cool thing!

The Shenandoah Valley.....oh how I miss it! I do live in Ohio now (dh's job), but I pretty much grew up in the Shenandoah Valley!! Mostly in Winchester, but I also lived in Luray for a while when I was in grades 6-8. I'm very familiar with most of VA, as I still have family there and visit when I can. I really miss the mountains and wish that I could look out my window here in Ohio and see some like I used to back in VA (especially near Luray). Enjoy those mountains for me and never take their beauty for granted!!!

I'm so glad that you found Alldoulas! I think that you will it here as much as I do! I look forward to reading more of your posts!
