Ontario doula
Hi,
My name is Shawna and I am a DONA trained doula (almost done cert.) and am begining my certification as a Childbirth Educator with ALACE and my CAPPA postpartum Certifciation. I have 2 daughters - 1st birth was a waterbirth at home with midwives and my 2nd daughter was breech and I had a cesarean. Both wonderful experiences - but very different 
I have been a Doula since 2004 and was doing quite well reaching out to clients but then I had my daughter in 2005 and took a year off and I also moved cities. It all worked out though and now I am working with a wonderful doula and it looks as if things are really beginning to take off.
I look forward to hearing from other Doulas and sharing lots of good information.

I *think* I may know who you are through the mention of another local doula who is also a recent member here. 
I am a mom of 2 girls and am currently pregnant with #3. I took my DONA training in 2002 and have dealt with clients mostly on a volunteer basis. The last birth I attended was in Feb and I won't be taking any clients until well after this baby is born. I am also the creator and administrator of alldoulas, so let me know if you have any suggestions or things you'd like to see here.

I'm Lori, and I'm a Certified Labor Doula through CAPPA and an aspiring LCCE, as I'm currently studying for Lamaze cert. through Passion for Birth. I've been officially doula-ing for 3 years.
